Our Products
Goats Milk Soap
Our soaps are available in a fabulous range of scents- 23 to be exact, most of which we always have available. They are hand-made by a gal across the state and her 14 year old daughter! They have a herd of 40 dairy goats and do the entire soap-making process from milking to the finished products, charmingly wrapped and ready to give as gifts, use as drawer sachets or room fresheners, or, of course, take a bath or shower with! They are scented only with essential oils, and all the ingredients are natural products. We also carry their lip balms and body balms- again all natural products- they feel so good and nourish your skin.
Prices: 1 bar- $8.00
2 bars- $15.00
3 bars- $21.00
Yarn and Roving
We shear once a year and have our alpaca fleece processed into roving, ready to be spun, and lace-weight yarn. Of course, you'll find me any given Saturday doing my spinning demonstration, making lovely single-ply hand-spun yarn. It is between a sport and worsted weight- perfect for mittens, scarves, hats, sweaters, and shawls, if you prefer to do your own knitting. I also do hand-dyeing on white, tan, and grey roving, which I then spin into beautifully colored yarns. A very near plan is to begin hand-carding various fibers, such as bamboo, silk, milk (who knew!), corn, and soy in with the alpaca fiber. I can't wait to see the very exciting and different results! If you choose not to knit your own items, I'm happy to do custom knitting for you. Quotes on demand!
I have also added silk yarns from Nepal, made from the ends of women's saris! The yarns are spectacular and most unusual. Plus, by purchasing them, you help support a cottage industry to help women develop a viable business.
I've also added a line of boutique imported yarns- delightful to knit alone or to fix with my alpaca lace yarn for a fabulous airy shawl, scarf or cowl! The possibilities are only limited by your imagination!! Begin your Fall projects now, and (hush my mouth!) holiday knitting. Mohair, glitz, lurex, silk, cashmere- we've got it all!!

Knitting Supplies
I'm happy to announce that we are carrying bamboo knitting needles, single and double pointed (for those in the know!!), in sizes 0-14, at the fabulous price of $5.00/set. You cannot beat this price anywhere- mostly as I check in craft stores, they are at least $8.00/set. I also carry ball winders- they do a great job of converting skeins to tidily wound balls. I finally found the little chatelaines- pewter and brass scissors holders on a chain to be worn around your neck! Handy- just where you need these adorable little scissors!
Miscellaneous
We also carry "It's for the Birds!" two side suet feeders. One side, of course, is the suet (included) holder, but the other contains bits of roving, ready to line the bird's nest and make it cushy for the wee ones. They are too cute and are ready to hang up in your back yard. The doors on either side open easily to refill with roving and suet. We have organza bags in a variety of colors- just the right size to put a soap bar in and voila- your soap is gift-wrapped! How easy is that!
